I got one as well - From: “Trustees”
The HUGE tell is the reply is to some email address which is based some where in Taiwan. While it claims to be from which is a legitimate website. Many spam protecting software target the "From" category, so it's a little more difficult to block this email when the "Reply" is the address that is the villain.
So, thank you for posting this and confirming my skepticism about this scam.
I did a search for “Trustees” scam - and you were at the top. Thanks.

Hi John,
Thank you for posting such useful information and making it freely available online.
I have one small request though - could you please remove my name from the whois domain registration details? When my credit card details were stolen, the scammers used my stolen details and name to register the domain. I would like to see the rest in-tact as it is great information, but the use of my name in the registration is only compounding the original credit card theft and not providing correct information to your readers.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Shawn

Good thoughts, John! ...worth more than a penny. It's at least worth buying you lunch at Taco Bell...
Seriously, as flawed as our country's system is we have it sooooo much better than most other countries. Those who complain need to move to Libya.
